Larry was stunned by the 1969 Ford Cobra's originality when he first saw it. The car was in amazing condition, still sporting its original Raven Black paint. The car needed a new paint job but it was far more original than Larry imagined. The Cobra was a Wisconsin native and had not been driven since its new purchase. The car's original owner had taken care of it, and Larry's plan to bring it to the next level was simple.

1969 Ford Cobra

This 1969 Ford Cobra is an investment grade, reference quality muscle car. It's the best car in any collection, with two long-term owners and more than $75,000 of investment. National Muscle Cars now has the car for sale. The car is available in three options: R, base, or RS. This configuration requires that the engine be removed and that the transmission and transaxle be installed at the front.

This is the most powerful Ford car of 1969. The four-speed Cobra transmission delivers 335 horsepower. The car comes with competition suspension. Motor Trend tested the Cobra 4x4 and it was able to complete the quarter-mile in 14.5 secs. Ram Air, which is part of the Cobra's Ram Air system, kept the driver stable and didn't cause motion sickness. The suspension can turn hard corners but it can also be very hairy.

1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra

This rare 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra model was limited in production. The car was fitted with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that was tuned to produce more power. The car's original rating was 235 horsepower with 280 lb-ft of torque. SVT tuning used Mustang GT performance as the base for their tuning. The car's cylinder heads were therefore replaced with GT40 pieces. Other modifications to the engine were a modified intake and camshafts. It also had vented disc brakes.


The engine was powered a 302CI engine with 235 horsepower. The engine was equipped with GT-40 "High Flow", Cast Iron heads that had larger intake ports and valves. These were fitted with GT-40 lower intake manifolds, and a special tubular aluminum upper intake that was modeled after the GT-40. The GT-40 manifold was designed to divert air into several rectangular ports. H.O. also measured the Mustang Cobra’s throttle body. spec engines.

1999-2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra

SVT was offering a performance convertible, the Ford Mustang SVT Cobra, from 1999 to 2004. It had the same V6 motor, but was modified to increase its handling and performance. Cobra received an aluminum flywheel along with the V6 engine. It also featured a revised suspension with individual damping rates. This car's suspension system featured forged alloy wheels with 245/45ZR-17 BFGoodrich Comp T/A tires. It has a distinctive sound that started as a low growl at moderate cornering speeds then developed into a clear howl at the limits of the car’s performance.

The SVT engineers worked to reduce weight by removing 50 pounds from the front end of the car. Twenty percent of this weight was caused by the engine. Six additional pounds were taken out of the Cobra's coil on-plug direct-ignition system. The new Mustang SVT Cobra model has a 55/45 forward-to-aft ratio. This is approximately one-foot shorter than its predecessor. The new SVT Cobra is 110 pounds lighter than its predecessor.

2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet

Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, a supercar with high performance that debuted in 2008, is the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet. This supercar is in its fourth generation and has received a number of upgrades to improve its performance. Cobra Jet's 2010 model features a brand new fuel system. This system uses a return system in its trunk. Aluminum has replaced the intercooler cooler tank, increasing its capacity and making it more resistant to pressurization. How to get a certified mechanic
